2- Day Patiala Military Literature Festival

The Khalsa College in Patiala's auditorium was packed on Saturday as the two-day Military Literature Festival got underway with a glitzy opening ceremony.

The Patiala Heritage Fest events included the organization of the military literature festival.

According to Dr. Singh, the Punjab administration is completely dedicated to eradicating the drug epidemic and the gangster culture there.

Lt Gen T S Shergill, Chairman of the Military Literature Festival (MLF), thanked CM Bhagwant Mann for giving the go-ahead to continue the festival by allowing the districts and colleges to host it and carry the torch for expanding the military's reach to rural populations.

As part of the military literature festival, panel discussions on current subjects were held, which greatly piqued the interest of young people.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Pakistan, China, and Ukraine with ramifications for India, as well as the contribution and role of Patiala State Forces in the 1947 war, were among the subjects chosen by the organizing committee.

Dr. Balbir Singh, the minister of health for Punjab, gave the ceremony's opening address and urged the young people in attendance to abstain from drugs and join the coveted military. At the War Memorial Complex Cenotaph of Patiala State Forces and Black Elephant located in YPS Chowk, GOC of Black Elephant Division of India, Army Major General Puneet Ahuja and other dignitaries paid tribute to the martyrs on the final day of Patiala's first Military Literature Festival by presenting floral garlands.

Later, Ahuja led the start of the Brave Heart Ride Motorcycle Rally, which had attracted roughly 140 bike riders at the Polo Ground. The march finished at the site of the Military Literature Festival at Khalsa College after completing a round of roughly 26 kilometers throughout Patiala city.

The audience was made aware of some previously unknown truths by eminent speakers who shared their extensive expertise. Standing ovations were given by the youthful audience as they applauded the heroic history of the "Rajindra Sikhs," now known as 15 Punjab, and learned of the valor of Patiala Sikhs in World Wars I and II and the first conflict following independence.

The crowds were captivated by other activities including the "Clarion Call" theater, battle drums and martial arts, and an archery arena.

Many children who saw the tanks lined up for the equipment exhibition climbed aboard them and were inspired to enlist. The most appealing booth was the recruiting counseling center, where numerous young people could be seen seeking information about joining the military forces. Numerous children were also spotted in Patiala preparing their bicycles for the Brave Hearts Bikers Rally, which began at the polo field on Sunday morning.

The Military Literature Festival Association, the Indian Army, and the district government arranged the Brave Heart Motorcycle Ride Rally to honor the fallen soldiers in the 75 years since the country's independence, according to Patiala Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney. She stated that it was also intended to encourage the young to pursue adventure to motivate them to live a disciplined and safe future free from drugs.
